Woodchips group starting on Saturday 6th February at Victoria Road from 2-3.30pm.

 Woodchips, is an educational parent and toddler group for children under 6 years old .

The Woodchips group is different from other toddler groups in that

•  It’s a more structured learning environment with more educational input than general toddler groups
• Children are encouraged to play and learn collectively
• Because it is at the weekend, more Dads can get involved
• There is greater opportunity for input by parents in a collective, shared environment
•  It is a foundation for children joining the older age groups which are Elfins (age 6-9), Pioneers (age 10-12), Venturers (age 13-15) and District Fellows (age 16-20).

The Woodchips Group meets every Saturday from 2-3.30pm in Victoria Road, Dundee. Activities will include games, singing, stories, crafts and dancing.

The Woodcraft Folk was started in 1925 as an educational and fun movement for young people and since then has grown throughout Scotland, England and Wales, to the point that there are now over 450 groups, that's roughly 70,000 young people and counting!
